The Tinta Experience is a 4-hour immersive floral and botanical experience at the farm. 2023 is the first year that we will be offering the TINTA Experience on a year-round basis in anticipation of the opening of our studio in the Summer. Enjoy a garden tour, flower u-pick, and natural dyeing workshop with us! Create naturally-dyed silk scarves and cotton shawls with flowers and plants that are hand-grown by me, and hand-dyed by you. After your 4-hour experience, you’ll bring home your creations as a tangible memory of your time at the farm. The programming shifts based on the season and will be reflected in the TINTA experience's activities. For ex: Summer: there will be a garden tour and flower u-pick Fall: our focus shifts to leaf foraging in our aspen forest to use it for eco-printing; a garden tour and flower u-pick are included until we get hard frost in Manitoba. Winter (2023/24): we'll explore dyeing with snow, use our dried dye flowers and pressed flowers in your design. Spring (2024): we'll focus on cultivating a dye garden, hands-on learning how to sow plants from seeds, and garden planning. The indigo dyeing portion is always included in the TINTA Experience.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
